KForce represents the convergence of two legacy companies, as well as the addition of a number of complementary businesses. Founded as Romac & Associates in 1966, the Company merged in 1988 with sources Corporation. an industry leader founded in 1962.
In 1999, the company changed its name to KForce, an abbreviation of The Knowledge Force. Taken together, these two terms describe our heritage as well as our future. “Knowledge” reflects the dual concepts of the knowledge worker, an individual who brings a wealth of professional. Personal and technical skills and the knowledge based employing organization; while “” force “” symbolizes the strength of the knowledgeable team that achieves the organization’s business objectives.
KForce today represents the strength and resources of many leading specialty staffing organizations. Including Romac International, Source EDP, Source Finance, UQ Solutions, SOI, PCS, Science Solution, CRE, Bayshore, CEEIM, Scientific Staffing, Emergency Response Staffing (ERS), Hall, Kinion & Associates, Inc. and it’s On Staff division ( now the KForce OnStaff Group ), and VistaRMS. The most recent addition is Pinkerton Computer Consultants, Inc., whose Government Solutions Division has become KForce Government Solutions.
By combining the skill and experience of these organizations. KForce today provides contract and permanent staffing solutions in the specialty skill areas of finance and accounting. Information technology, health care. Clinical research, scientific, title and escrow, mortgage, and banking and credit union.
